Marine & Shipping

At Marc Alexander we understand the importance of your marine coating projects.  The steel structure of a sea-going vessel is prone to corrosion throughout its service life and correct installation and maintenance of a suitable corrosion protection system is paramount to the life cycle of the vessel.

Cruise ships, ferries, tugs, oil tankers, ice-breakers, yachts and merchant shipping owners are constantly looking at ways to improve efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.

A Marc Alexander coatings inspector will ensure that your coating system requirements during new-build, refit and maintenance are installed both correctly and within budget and time schedule requirements.

We are ready to discuss your marine and shipping project requirements from a coating inspection perspective and ready to work with you.  Please get in touch to find out more about our quality inspection services.

Offshore and Topside

We understand that offshore inspections and testing are completely different to onshore inspection and testing.

Although Marc Alexander do not specialise in offshore inspection we do ensure that pre-installed offshore equipment, piping and vessels are coated, insulated and expedited correctly prior to installation offshore.

We have vast experience in this field and are ready to meet and discuss your project requirements.

If you require an experienced and quality focused inspector to monitor the coating and insulation aspects of your offshore equipment prior to installation, please get in touch via our contact page and we will be only too happy to represent you during your project.
