About Us
We have extensive experience of pipeline inspection activities including pipe mill surveillance, cold-bending activities, site field-joint coating and cathodic protection system inspection. Our extensive work on large-scale projects throughout Europe has equipped us with the necessary and specialist experience to represent you during the project construction phase of oil-fields, LPG facilities, tie-ins, refineries, shipyards, dry-docks and nuclear projects.
We are able to represent you as a third-party/client inspector for procedure qualification trials (PQT), pre-production testing (PPT) and all aspects of in-process inspection. This includes certification review, surface preparation activities, laboratory testing and application of coating materials through to documentation review and final acceptance.
Marc Alexander also has extensive experience with coating-inspection instrumentation. We utilise state-of-the-art equipment including ultrasonic gauges, soluble salt detectors, dew-point meters, holiday detectors, moisture meters, dry film thickness gauges, adhesion testers, hardness gauges, and pH measuring devices.
Our inspectors are well-versed in the numerous standards and practices established by leading industry authorities, such as NACE, SSPC, ASTM, ISO and ICorr.
